21  Fire under climate change

This chapter is in progress. The narrative draws on the fire-under-climate-change experiment infrastructure in FireSenseTesting, which uses experimentTmux() (interactive) and experimentSBATCH() (HPC) to run combinations of empirical land regions (.ELFind), sampling ranges (.samplingRange, e.g. 1991:2020 for NRV vs. 2071:2100 for future climate), GCMs, SSPs, and replicates.

A full draft is forthcoming. The mechanics from Chapter 20 apply directly – the chapter will fill in the domain-specific global.R (pulling in LandR, FireSense, and climateData modules via setupProject()), the FireSense status calculator, and the upload-anti-join pipeline used to ship outputs to Google Drive.
